
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR NEW PIERCING:
WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY WITH SOAP & WARM WATER BEFORE & AFTER HANDLING YOUR PIERCING.
1. Using sterile saline solution/wound wash spray on & around both openings of piercing site 2x per day and pat dry with a paper towel ONLY.
2. Repeat step 1 for the next 8 weeks.
FOR ORAL PIERCINGS:
When waking up each morning, brush your teeth thoroughly using caution to avoid trauma at the piercing site!
1. Using an alcohol free mouthwash ONLY, rinse your mouth in the morning only.
**Throughout the day, after eating, drinking, and smoking you will want to rinse your mouth with plain drinking water.
**For oral piercings with external jewelry (labret, philtrum, etc.) clean the outside with sterile saline/wound wash as previously mentioned!
- DO NOT USE rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide.
- DO NOT USE ointments or creams.
- DO NOT submerge yourself in water for 8 - 12 weeks. (Ocean, bathtubs, hot tubs, swimming pools. etc.)
Showering is fine. Please shower!
- DO NOT remove or change the jewelry within the first 12 weeks without the assistance of your piercer.
- DO NOT handle piercing in any way without thoroughly washing your hands.
